WW Air Fryer Chicken Skewers

The air fryer has changed my life.. if you don’t have one, you need one! We’ve been using ours almost every day. So, we decided to try chicken skewers and they came out exactly as they would if you had put them on the grill. Yummy!

Here’s what you need:

  • Bamboo skewers
  • 1-2lbs chicken breast
  • Onion
  • Mushrooms
  • 2 Red peppers
  • 2 Zucchini
  • Pineapple (can or fresh)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup light extra virgin olive oil
  • 2/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Salt & pepper to taste

*With skewers you can put any veggies you want on there, as little or as much so play around with them to your liking. Remember almost all veggies are zero ww points!

About 4 hours or so before dinner chop all of your chicken and veggies into bite size pieces. Mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic and salt and pepper in small bowl and whisk together. Put all chopped items into large freezer ziploc bag and pour marinade over them. Close ziplock bag and shake gently so marinade covers it all. Lay flat in fridge until ready to cook.

Soak your bamboo skewers in water for 20 mins prior to cooking. You will need to trim skewers to fit into air fryer after soaked.

Cook at 370 for 15 minutes in Air Fryer.

These made 20 and came out to 2 WW points each, if you want to lessen the WW points you could half the recipe or omit the honey but I personally think it’s worth every point!
